![]() ![]() Loved and respected the first one, it's a bit of a classic in my eyes regardless of the crap it influenced. But sadly, these things may never happen :( I also want a movie where they take down the coven and tobi entirely, actually succeeding in stopping it all. I really, really hope that through some shred of luck, they make another one, or two to finish the story completely. I am so disappointed that this is apparently the final film. With the way they ended this movie, they HAVE to keep going!!! I can't stand having my questions go unanswered, since I love the whole story line! Here are my questions they completely failed to answer: "Who started the coven?" "Who found the demon Tobi?" "How is it that they can travel through time?" "Do some of them have demon powers? Or are they possessed?" "Is there more then one demon?" "How many years have all these events been happening for?" and possibly more that I can't think of at the moment. They said that this is the final film, and that all previous questions will be answered. Has anyone else noticed this? Or knows if it's just a mistake and they realized it too late? Surely it couldn't have been missed by everyone - the crew, the script, the director, the editor. Unless I missed something critical, as in something important happened in 19 is a noteworthy date in regards to 1999, 5 =/= 6. Born on the 6th month - June - on the 6th day - on the 6th year - 2005. He states Hunter and the little girl's birthday, June 6th 2005. I have a concern however about one of the scenes in the end, where the priest is filling the bath with holy water to soak a sheet to trap the demon. However, as a final movie (if it is), it's nice to see how the others tied in and to see a manifestation of what's been haunting the families all these years. I feel that putting a face to something unknown significantly makes it less scary. Not too too scary, but once the VFX / the demon were intensely present in the finale, the scare factor kind of died off. Though I did enjoy watching it and I would definitely say it wasn't a bad movie, I just really wish they had taken a couple of movies to end the franchise rather than try to fit all the answers into one final chapter. ![]() ![]() We never even got to see Toby, not really. Went to see the film last week with a bunch of friends only to find out it was just a bunch of forgotten promises. Having said that I was really excited to see how they ended it. When they announced that The Ghost Dimension was going to be the last one I was a little bit disappointed as I felt they had only just started to wrap the series up, which is something I wanted them to take a few films doing. Now I watched the Marked Ones and was blown away, I loved the twist at the end, the expansion on the mythos, it felt like they finally were about to answer the questions we'd all be waiting to be answered. 4 was ok, but felt a little disjointed from the other films. 1-3 was perfect, set up loads of questions and answered some in a nice little web of plot points. ![]()
